Good place to watch fireworks in South Gloucestershire/North Bristol?

Bonfire night is fast approaching and we don't want to go to a display as it's too loud for the baby but is there a good sight-seeing spot to see the fireworks over the county/city? Somewhere we can park the car for free and sit and enjoy?
